Ice cream? What do I really want? Do I want to feel very satisfied? Do I want to feel well cared for? Do I want some real pleasure? Do I want to feel filled up? Do I need something extra special right now? Am I hurting? Do I have unexpressed anger inside of me? Do I hate myself? Am I tired? Do I need to rest? Do I need to be soothed?
And...
Will ice cream give me what I need?
That's true-to-yourself healthy dieting talk, and it's psychological indeed.
