If you goal is to lose the weight, then what do you have to do to get there? Go on a diet is what everyone says to do. And it makes good sense from the standpoint of having a plan right before you that's specifically tailored to losing weight.
That's the food plan. But what can give you the weight-loss help you need to get started, stick to it, and keep it off? Why not, figuratively speaking, take a page from the food plan book? A food plan AND a "your psychology" plan.
If it helps to plan out what you eat, it should really help to plan for these other, equally as important aspects of dieting and weight loss: getting started, sticking to it, and keeping it off.
For more information on making specific plans to deal with the psychological side of dieting and weight loss, go to "Find Your Issue" and "The Reading Room" (both of which are in the right sidebar of this blog).
