Along your weight-loss journey you are going to come across weight-loss difficulties (obstacles) that test your ability to get through them and keep going. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that these obstacles are primarily a test of your motivation.
Your motivation may not play the role you think it does. Instead, the resource you use may be ingenuity or creativity or skill, or maybe even a goal to succeed that gets triggered by the obstacle.
