How strong do you feel when you are trying to lose a lot of weight? This is different from how strong do you feel about losing your unwanted weight?
It helps during the weight loss process to operate from a position of strength. Do you know the strengths you have that you can apply to the process of weight loss? For example, are you usually a good decision maker, optimistic, sensitive, creative, or do you have any other of a number of strong personal qualities? Could you use these strengths for losing your unwanted weight, for navigating the bumps and obstacles that are so much a part of losing weight?
Why not try? You could make a list of some of your strengths and make very specific plans as to how to use these strengths for taking successful weight loss steps.
