This is a question you might not think is relevant to getting started on losing some weight or to continuing to stay on your diet and losing more weight. But just for a few moments think about it. What was mealtime like in your house?
Gently roll your memory back to those times when you were a kid and meals were a daily staple. What was it like? Who bought the food? Who prepared it? Who had a say in what you ate and when you ate? What were those family mealtimes really like?
Were there certain themes? So and so was always a picky eater. Dad was too strict. Arguing was usually the main course and leaving the table in anger was everyone’s just dessert.
