Can you do any of the following?
• When I think I want more or when I think I want to eat off my weight loss diet, I make it a point to be especially aware of my bodily sensations.
• I try to be good at knowing my feelings.
• In difficult food situations, I can wait and don’t have to react immediately.
• I accept the mistakes I make without judging myself harshly.
If you take any of these stances with yourself, you will be less likely to carry around the idea that you’re a failure.
